Notification to Employees and Parents: A small amount of asbestos is contained in the building materials at Zion. This would include our classrooms, auditorium, storerooms, and basement area. This material is in stable condition and there is a management plan in place to maintain it. We do our own surveillance every six months to ensure that there is no change. By law, we must inform staff and parents annually of the availability of our asbestos management plan. This plan is available by contacting David Traver, Asbestos Program Manager.
