Confirmation classes are facilitated by Pastor Eric Zacharias. Youth classes begin each fall and run throughout the school year. Seventh and eighth grade students at Zion Lutheran School receive confirmation instruction each morning as part of the curriculum at Zion.
Nonstudent members of Zion Lutheran Church as well as others in the community may also receive instruction. Classes for youth who do not attend Zion Lutheran School are held on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year, starting at 5:15 PM.
In the spring, second year students will undergo a formal questioning before their confession of faith, which is held during Zion's morning church service on Palm Sunday each year.
